Anil Kapoor has openly discussed his shortcomings as a father. He acknowledged that he was not fully present for his children. Kapoor praised his wife, Sunita Kapoor, for raising their children primarily on her own.
He stated, “I was hardly there. If my children say positive things about me, I feel happy that I have raised them well. But as a father, I could have been much better.”
Anil and Sunita have been married for over four decades. They have three children: Sonam, Rhea, and Harshvardhan. Despite Anil’s absence, he commended his children for becoming strong individuals.
In the film industry, Anil Kapoor is known for various roles. He played Azaad in the film Awaargi, which remains significant to him. His character Majnu Bhai from the Welcome franchise drew inspiration from this earlier role.
The Welcome franchise continues to thrive, with Welcome 4 currently in development. It aims to bring back key characters from previous films.
Anil Kapoor was recently featured in the action drama Subedaar, which premiered on Prime Video. He will also star in upcoming films titled King and Alpha.
