Rishabh Pant, who played 14 matches in IPL 2025, scored 269 runs at an average of 24.45 and a strike rate of 133.17. His performance has drawn attention, with RCB captain Faf du Plessis urging him to become a more impactful player. “I want him to be more of a high-impact player,” du Plessis stated, highlighting the need for Pant to refine his game plan.
Du Plessis also commented on Pant’s stroke play, saying, “Rishabh Pant’s stroke play is one that looks all over the place. He needs to figure out exactly what his game plan looks like to give himself the best chance.” The captain emphasized the importance of Pant’s initial six balls in setting the tone for his innings.
