Guerrilla 450: Royal Enfield Apex Launches with Sporty Features

The launch of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Apex marks a significant shift in the brand’s approach to sportier motorcycles. With an introductory price starting at Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai), this model is set to attract enthusiasts looking for performance and style.

Equipped with a 452cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, the Guerrilla 450 Apex delivers 40hp and 40Nm of torque. This powertrain is complemented by road-focused Vredestein tyres, enhancing grip and stability.

Notably, the Apex variant features sportier ergonomics, with an aluminium handlebar positioned 56mm lower and 57mm farther forward than its predecessor. This design aims to improve rider comfort and control during aggressive riding.

The bike’s performance is further supported by improved tyres, boasting an 8% improvement in dry grip and 17% better wet grip. These enhancements are crucial for riders seeking confidence in various weather conditions.

The Guerrilla 450 Apex is available in three striking colours: red, black, and green, appealing to a wide range of aesthetic preferences. Additionally, it includes a removable rear-seat cowl, allowing for versatility in design.

Modern features are not overlooked, as the bike comes equipped with a Tripper Dash that offers Google Maps navigation and smartphone connectivity, ensuring riders stay connected on the go.

However, the standard Guerrilla model has seen changes as well, with the Dash variant discontinued. The entire Guerrilla 450 range is now priced between Rs 2.49 lakh and Rs 2.72 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai).

Royal Enfield has also updated its app to provide more information and ride data, enhancing the overall ownership experience.

As the motorcycle community anticipates the impact of the Guerrilla 450 Apex, details remain unconfirmed regarding its reception in the market. Further developments are expected as riders test the new features and performance.
