Jp morgan lawsuit against executive director

A former JPMorgan employee, Chirayu Rana, filed a lawsuit against Lorna Hajdini, an executive director at the bank, alleging sexual harassment. The lawsuit claims that Hajdini drugged Rana and coerced him into sexual encounters. Following an internal investigation, JPMorgan found no evidence to support Rana’s allegations.

Key facts:

  • Hajdini has worked at JPMorgan for 15 years.
  • Rana sought millions in a settlement before filing the lawsuit.
  • The lawsuit has been retracted for corrections.

Lorna Hajdini categorically denies the allegations made against her. A JPMorgan spokesperson stated, “Following an investigation, we don’t believe there’s any merit to these claims.” Hajdini deleted her LinkedIn account amid the controversy.

Rana and Hajdini were colleagues on the same team but reported to different managers. Rana is currently a principal at investment firm Bregal Sagemount. No trial date has been set for the lawsuit.
