In IPL 2026, Gujarat Titans faced defeats in their opening two matches against Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals. They recorded a one-run victory against Delhi Capitals, showcasing resilience.
Suthar dismissed claims that head coach Ashish Nehra adds pressure to the squad. He stated that Nehra keeps things simple, which is crucial in cricket.
“He’s very good, the way he’s leading the team,” Suthar said. “Gill was making me feel very free, and he supported a lot.”
The team operates as a close-knit unit, where everyone supports each other through highs and lows—“like a family,” according to Suthar.
