Ola Electric Launches ‘EndICEAge’ Campaign Amidst Sales Decline

Ola Electric has called for #EndICEAge amid an oil shock brought on by the Iran war. The company is now launching its ‘EndICEAge’ campaign, offering electric scooters and motorcycles starting at just ₹49,999.

This campaign comes as Ola Electric faces a significant downturn, with EV sales in February 2026 plummeting to their lowest since the company went public in August 2024. The initiative aims to boost sales by providing consumers with benefits up to ₹50,000, including service guarantees and assured buyback schemes.

Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola Electric, emphasized the urgency of transitioning to electric vehicles, stating, “Rising fuel prices and the current geopolitical situation are clear reminders of why India must accelerate its journey towards energy independence.” He added, “Every EV on the road reduces our dependence on imported oil.”

The campaign features the Gen 3 S1 X (2kWh) and Roadster X (2.5 kWh), both starting at ₹49,999. The buyback guarantee promises an assured buyback value of up to 60% on these electric vehicles, making them an attractive option for consumers.

Additionally, Ola Electric is offering an extended warranty of eight years as standard for its S1 scooters and Roadster motorcycles. This offer is valid until 31 March 2026, aiming to entice buyers during a challenging market period.

As the campaign unfolds, observers will be watching closely to see if these measures can reverse the sales decline and restore confidence in Ola Electric’s offerings. Aggarwal concluded, “We are going to do whatever it takes to accelerate India’s move beyond ICE!”
