Riteish Deshmukh’s highly anticipated film Raja Shivaji is set for a worldwide theatrical release on May 1, 2026. The film, a Hindi-Marathi bilingual epic, promises to showcase the life and legacy of one of India’s most celebrated warrior kings, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Deshmukh not only stars in the lead role but also takes on the responsibilities of writing, producing, and directing the film. He will be joined by a stellar cast, including Sanjay Dutt as the main antagonist, alongside Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Fardeen Khan, and Genelia Deshmukh.
