Pant has scored 204 runs in nine matches this season. His highest score is 68 not out. Former players, including Manoj Tiwary, suggested that LSG should consider removing Pant from captaincy pressure.
Tiwary stated, “I feel that, under the pressure of captaincy, we are losing Pant the batter.” LSG’s next match is against RCB on May 7, 2026. The team currently faces six consecutive losses.
