According to a recent MSN weather alert, “Light Rain/ Light Thunderstorm with Lightning (wind speed 30-40 kmph) is very likely to occur at many places over Delhi in the next 3 hours.” This means residents should be prepared for sudden weather changes.
Cloudy skies are expected to persist throughout the day, contributing to the overall damp atmosphere. The IMD also noted, “Generally cloudy sky. Possibility of very light rain/drizzle accompanied with thunderstorm/lightning during forenoon to afternoon.” This indicates that the rain may not be heavy but could still disrupt daily activities.
Interestingly, this is not the first time Delhi has seen rainfall this month. The city has already experienced two spells of light rain in March due to western disturbances. This weather pattern has been a notable feature of the month, bringing much-needed moisture to the region.
