John Ternus Appointed as Apple CEO

John Ternus is now the CEO of Apple. This transition marks a significant leadership change at the tech giant.

Tim Cook will become executive chairman of Apple’s board of directors. Cook has led Apple since 2011.

Under his leadership, Apple’s market capitalization soared from $350 billion to $4 trillion. Additionally, annual revenue increased from $108 billion in fiscal year 2011 to over $416 billion in fiscal year 2025.

The Board of Directors approved this transition unanimously. Ternus has spent 25 years at Apple, joining in 2001.
