MHT CET: Second Attempt Announced for 2026

The second attempt of MHT-CET begins on May 9, 2026, allowing 4,92,383 students to improve their scores. This year marks the first time the CET Cell has introduced two attempts for these entrance exams.

Key statistics:

  • The MBA/MMS CET will be conducted on May 9, 2026, for 53,931 candidates.
  • The PCB group exam will be held on May 10 and 11, 2026, for 1,16,538 students.
  • The PCM group exam will run from May 12 to May 21, 2026, excluding May 16 and 17, with 3,21,914 candidates.

In the first attempt, 8,96,236 students registered. Of those, 8,33,482 appeared for the test, recording an attendance rate of 92.99%.

The official release of the MHT CET 2026 Answer Key Session 1 is expected by May 2, 2026. Candidates can download it from cetcell.mahacet.org.

A score of 100 marks in MHT CET is anticipated to correspond to a percentile range of around 88 to 92 for PCM and 85 to 90 for PCB.

If a candidate appears for both attempts, the higher percentile score will be considered for admission. The second attempt is optional but appearing for at least one exam is mandatory.

The CET Cell has officially confirmed that the MBA answer keys will be available on May 2. A score of 170+ is likely to land you in the top 0.1% of candidates.
