CBSE 12th Result 2026 Update: LOC Submission Details Released

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notice regarding the LOC submission for the second Class 10 Board Exam 2026. This announcement comes as students prepare for their upcoming examinations.

The LOC submission process is divided into three phases. In Phase 1, students will fill in the LOC without any fee payment required. Phases 2 and 3 allow students to submit, alter, drop, or add subjects while paying the necessary examination fee.

Importantly, if a student opts out of the second board exam after submitting the LOC and paying the fee, their performance in the main examination will be used to determine their result.

However, some schools are reportedly demanding three months’ tuition fees from students during the LOC submission, which violates CBSE regulations. The board has made it clear that schools must not collect any additional or unauthorized fees in connection with this process.

The only permissible fee is the examination fee as outlined in the LOC circular. Schools are directed to adhere strictly to these guidelines and cease any practices that contravene CBSE rules.

This notice aims to ensure transparency and fairness in the examination process, safeguarding students from undue financial burdens.

As the examination date approaches, students and parents are urged to stay informed about these developments. Compliance with CBSE regulations is crucial for a smooth examination experience.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding the specific dates for the second board exam, but the CBSE is expected to release further updates soon.
