JEE Main: 26 Candidates Achieve Perfect Scores

In JEE (Main) 2026, 26 candidates secured a perfect NTA score. This marks an increase from 24 perfect scorers last year.

Among the perfect scorers, one candidate is from the general-EWS category and another from OBC-NCL. No female candidate scored a 100 percentile this year.

Telangana’s Mallavarapu Aasna had the highest score among female candidates with a 99.998 percentile. Overall, 2,50,182 candidates qualified for JEE (Advanced).

Of those, 96,873 candidates are from the general category. A total of 15,38,468 candidates appeared for JEE (Main) 2026.

Unique registrations reached 16,04,854 across both sessions. Aarush Singhal from Chandigarh secured AIR 1 in JEE Main 2026 Session 2.

The expected raw marks for AIR 1 are between 295–300 out of a possible 300. JEE Main is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

JEE (Advanced) remains one of the toughest entrance examinations globally, serving as the sole gateway to the Indian Institutes of Technology.
