JEE Mains Admit Card Release Date Approaches

When will the JEE Mains admit card be available? The answer is just days away. The admit cards for the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 will be released 3–4 days prior to the exam, which is scheduled from April 2 to April 9, 2026.

Candidates can download their admit cards from the official portal jeemain.nta.nic.in. To access the document, they will need their application number and date of birth.

On March 22, 2026, the city intimation slip was released, giving candidates a heads-up on their exam locations. However, this slip is not required on exam day.

Over 10 lakh candidates are expected to appear for this session of the exam, which will be conducted in dual shifts: morning from 9 am to 12 noon and afternoon from 3 pm to 6 pm.

The admit card will contain crucial details such as the exam date, shift timing, and test center address. Candidates must also carry a valid photo ID along with the admit card to the examination hall.

The official live link to download the admit card will be activated shortly before the exams. If candidates encounter issues while downloading, they should check their credentials and network connectivity.

In the previous session, JEE Main 2026 session 1 saw 13 lakh candidates appear, with around 2.5 lakh expected to qualify for JEE Advanced. This upcoming session is anticipated to be just as competitive.

As the exam date approaches, candidates are advised to stay updated and ensure they have all necessary documents ready. Details remain unconfirmed regarding any last-minute changes to the exam schedule or procedures.
