The second attempt of MHT-CET begins from May 9, 2026, for 4,92,383 students. The MBA/MMS CET will also be conducted on the same day for 53,931 candidates. This year marks the first time the CET Cell has introduced two attempts for these entrance exams.
Exam schedule:
The PCB group exam will be held on May 10 and 11, 2026, for 1,16,538 students. and The PCM group exam will run from May 12 to May 21, excluding May 16 and 17, with 3,21,914 candidates.
In the first attempt, 8,96,236 students registered. A total of 8,33,482 appeared, recording an attendance rate of 92.99%. Officials expect that a score of 100 marks in MHT CET will correspond to a percentile range of around 88 to 92 for PCM and around 85 to 90 for PCB.
Candidates can download the MHT CET 2026 Answer Key and response sheet from cetcell.mahacet.org. The official release of the MHT CET Answer Key Session 1 is expected by May 2, 2026. If a candidate appears for both attempts, the higher percentile score will be considered for admission.
